The Galley is an extension of and accessed from The Sprat Shed or via the oak steps facing the River Deben. The Galley is a relaxed and informal workspace that is the perfect location to work or for an informal meeting.

Outside, the salty tang of the tidal Deben hangs in the air, river birds splash and call across its reflective depths, the trees move gently in the breeze on the heavily wooded northern bank and the majestic masts of sailing boats in dry dock reach up to the lofty Suffolk sky.

The walls are lined with vintage maritime charts, there is a small kitchenette and enough space to work and chat comfortably, utilising either the vintage mid-century leather sofa or the laptop-friendly seating.

The warm wooden floor, softened by a Scandi-style rug and the wooden staircase rising steeply to the loft above make this the ideal place to escape to.
